Its our 12th episode of Pizza Quest! This week we visited Apolloni's Pizza in the Mid-Wilshire District of Los Angeles. Apollonia's offer both a Roman Style and New York style pizza.

At the time of this writing, the restaurant was somewhat hard to find tuck in a strip mall behind subway construction barricades. But, oh boy, once you find it you've struck gold!

Apollonia's has no seating and is strictly a take out operation. We chose to eat our pizza in the parking lot out of the back of our hatchback --- as several other people were also doing.

Inside there is a self serve counter with a display case with a variety of deep dish slices ready to be reheated. We ordered the Pepperoni New York Slice, the Eastside Classic (Roman style), Acapulco Gold (also Roman style).

All slices we tried we're very good and the bottom line for us is that this is one of the better pizzas we've tried.

Cash only is not exactly the best way to go. Do you discuss the prices of the slices?

Has is no cash sketch? Realize those card companies take a percentage including making you wait weeks to get your payments. Even more so, many have waited months for card companies to send their money.
Cards are a convenience to the shopper so don’t cry if the price goes up when using over cash!
