It's late at night where I am and I'm reflecting on my life when this song comes up. Stuck in habitual sin, willingly rebelling, and I rightfully feel like the scum of ther earth. The first four words of this song come up and I'm immediately reminded that God's love is devoted. Now if His love is completely devoted, why don't I take the same position in our relationship? I keep using the excuse that I'm imperfect as a bye, but I'm tired of making up things to excuse my behavior. I'm making a vow, here, today. I will flee from the temptations of the devil and devote myself to God. Your praise will ever be on my lips, O Lord!

3 years ago I listened to this song while having a huge breakdown with my less than one year old in my arms. I was on my knees, rocking her and crying my heart out why God does not hear my cries, why He doesn’t see my hurt from the years of abuse from my husband. Tonight, I listen to this song and my baby is now 4 and we just got away from her abusive dad very recently. This song hits differently today and I know now that God WAS listening. He gave me the strength to flee and get the help I need even with no money, no job. Remember that God will give us the people and resources to help us get through it but He can’t if we don’t get out of bad situations ourselves. Hugs to anyone going through the same.

This song came out when I was finding my way back to Christianity . And as I was, I realized I was coming back to my father and not a religion, not a church, not an institution but a true real and loving relationship with my father God who has longed for me to know the fullness of joy & genuine peace that I’ll never find apart from him. It’s been 7 years and everyday I am still in awe 🥰 of how deep the Lord’s love is for me. His kindness truly did lead me to repentance. Forever I want to worship him & give him my sacrifice of praise. This song 🎶 is so anointed & beautiful. Reading the Bible for myself & not depending on a preacher to feed me spiritually has been a game changer in my walk with Christ. This is the first time i cried and felt the presence of God while listening to a song. I feel the great love of our God even though I'm at home just sitting and listening to this song. It shows the greatness of God's love and who we are becoming as we get closer to Him. We grow in our faith as we grow everyday. He looks after us and God knows everything about us, yet He chose to send His beloved Son to redeem and save us from death and our sins.
