I am currently in first year in a decent college (not any nit or iit) and have done the basics of ds and algorithms. I have also learned a bit of web development and really liked the backend part. I want to know if learning desktop application using libraries like electron or native system language like c++ or c# is a good choice for a fresher like me if I want to go into open souce and learn stuff as I am not very much interested in learning front libraries for web development like react or angular.
