This is like the only game that made me cried while playing because i almost ended up having the same experience.

Alright, time to yap. THIS GAME IS UNBELIEVABLY GOOD. Amazing, terrific, fantastic, Any word that is positive. The graphics were like a gentle hug, it wasn’t rough and hard. It felt.. comforting. The animation was PERFECT. The dialogue, it felt, oh so real. Like it was being said by a actual person. The protagonist is also very relatable to others. Anyone who hates this game is out of their mind.

I really love the peaceful, nice games that don’t really feel action-ish, the whole point is to make you feel like you’re at home.. There’s very few games like these, so that’s why I appreciate them. They really dive into the cracks and corners of your heart, feeling like the protagonist IS you. And sometimes, they also heal it, giving you advice. They really want you to feel safe, calm, comforted. Types of games like these are a INSTANT 100/10 from me, Must play, would recommend.

The lore:
Protagonist: has to move houses due to decision made by parents, but they didnt tell their friend called "ember" because of the performance
However to try avoid making ember upset/mad they avoided breaking the sudden news, however she found out anyways, and was much more upset and mad because they purposefully hid it from her, as a result she breaks the friendship which suddenly makes "Protagonist" feel extremely regretful and guilty. Shortly after his mom: tells him that she and his dad will be waiting outside by the car. As "Protagonist" walks around the apartment, he sees a diploma which he obtained via high school graduation. Shortly after, he walks in the bathroom he sits down, back against the door.
He starts whispering to himself, deeply regretting his actions. And they start making negative comments to themselves about their personality, and how they never should've lied, they start to think of a solution to overcome the guilt. "Forget everything" a little while later, his mom asks, if they are alright. He says he isnt fine and his mom tries to comfort him about the moving by telling him happy moments from his childhood, and how whenever shes down, she thinks of happy moments. Shortly after, she walks out to go to the car. "Protagonist" gets up, and walks out the bathroom where they are tasked with turning the lights off. As they turn a light off, they are faced with happy memories from their childhood, these repeat until the last switch where they are presented with the bad memories. they face a conundrum where forgetting their nightmares includes forgetting their good memories, shortly after they leave the apartment to prepare to go to the car. He talks to a few neighbours who are working on their own projects. When they arrive at the car his mom commented on how worried she was because he took so long, and that she concerned about them screaming and whispering in the bathroom. She reassures him that he can tell them if there are any issues and thats what family is for. And swiftly after, they depart and Protagonist eeves drops on their conversation, about wanting new winter wear, the father says they have plenty from last year and that they dont need more. They start to talk about their child and their future, the mom thinks that they should go off to college. But because of how busy work is, their child couldnt fully graduate high school. She starts to tell the dad on how he should be kinder to his kid, and that he didnt say hello once to them. She lectured him about how he just stares instead of muttering even a single word, and she expresses concern on how the "Protagonist" screams and mutters in the bathroom. The father dismisses those claims as "teenage stuff" and he'll "grow out of it" the mother says "things only get worse when its just the two of you together" and offers counciling to try improve the conditions of their child, the father dismisses counciling and tries to not do counciling as he thinks its just a phase because their young. The mother says that if something like this happens again, she'll do counciling anyways if she has to.
"Protagonist" drifts off to sleep
Later the next day, he wakes up in the car infront of the new house.

Cool game, donated 10 robux. Excited for the full release, the protagonist being a blank character really allows to see ourselves who've had similar experiences. The story about striving to be a more mature and responsible person and coming to terms with one's self hits too close to home for me and others.

Most good psychological horror games leave you in shock staring blank being like "what did i just experience". But this game. Oh this game. It places a HEAVY mental weight on you. Just a simple head shake wont be enought to shake off what you just played. The more you think about it the heavier the weight becomes. It also leaves you with this unbelievable need to know what happens next. A unbelievable NEED for a happy ending. Even after you complete it you're thinking "there has to be a better secret ending. This cant be it". But most of all. Its leaves you with an unbelievable amount of empathy. I really hope that there is a alternative ending where he apologizes and returns to Ember, because they NEED each other. As soon as the are taken apart, they completely crumble.

I kind of feel like the odd one out, the only one who didn’t feel much playing this game, I only felt a small bit of sadness after the promise, and that’s about it. BUT STILL, EVEN THOUGH NO SADNESS, I MAY OF LIED A BIT, I FELT LOTS OF JOY, IT WAS SUCH A GOOD GAME, IM SO EXCITED FOR THE FULL RELEASE!!!

idk why i was not suprised with the elements of this game, especially the jumpscare at the 53 minute mark

i decided to play roblox because i was bored, i was scrolling through the games then i stumbled upon this. i didn't know what is was about i just saw the cover and thought it would be interesting but as i was playing i realized how much i relate to the game/story man it really hit me and it did a great job of doing it, i felt super seen like damn is this me 😭 and i couldn't help to feel sad and desolate. i can't wait for the full game the game is really nice and storytelling makes you feel connected idk this is just me

man its such a bummer that it broke when i was about to get the scene with ember i really thought the prologue ended there.

whatever i called it when i thought his parents would leave him in the new house though it doesnt make much sense since we dont get anymore info about what the protagonist is going to do? like what was their whole plan to move out but i hope that gets explained in chapter 1
