Matt, I can't say enough about how helpful your vids are. I'm about to do a 400sf addition on my own house here in Santa Cruz, and after watching your work I've decided to do the framing myself. I'm not a novice, but its been a minute or two and your vids have helped knock the rust off. I worked on a construction crew about 25 years ago when I was in school, I spent summers building decks before that, and I worked in a cabinet shop for a while, but it's your vids that have pushed me over the decision point! If you're ever up this way, drop me a note and if the pandemic allows I'll buy you a beer.

You are one hell of a builder my friend. With that said....I really do love that plywood. Only because it gives me a more organic feel. Frank Lloyd Wright utilized that method with his architecture. Organic materials from stone to wood to cantilever concrete. Either way outstanding work. Keep bangin them beautiful structures brother

The history of drywall is quite interesting, I was kinda curious as to why it became the norm and after a bit of research it wasn't surprising how it became so standard. I'd love to see more builds with something more interesting but of course that simply isn't practically in most applications. That said I'm still trying to figure out what to hang on the interior of our project.. Oh and many thanks to MBW for turning me onto the Makita cordless nailer, GREAT tool!!

Hey Matt can you do a video on how you find angles and how to cut to the right length with angles like on cross braces that have angles on both sides I’m having trouble figuring out cross braces. Thanks love your channel. Keep it up
