Just a little tip for when you have line across the pond like that, set up a washing line so your line is kept of the water and you can place your bait exactly where you want it. 🎣🎣🎣

Evening Dan, your have fun on the pole for sure, my best carp on a match pole not margin pole was 20lb 1oz tench fishing in an old gravel pit, 5lb main line 4lb hook length 16 spade ends hook, good luck …
