DWQZ-FM, broadcasting under the name Home Radio, is an FM radio station that operates on 97.9 MHz, and it is owned and operated by Aliw Broadcasting Corporation through its licensee Insular Broadcasting System.

The Home Radio Network once carried an easy listening format at the time when it started broadcasting in 1994, and after gaining success in half a year, it was then implemented to its provincial stations. Aside from its usual programming from Mondays to Saturdays, it aired a variety hits programming during Sundays.

In the mid-2000s, Home Radio once had a no-DJ format, meaning that there were no DJs talking in-studio, apart from a fully-automated announcer whose name is 'Jackie'. The aforementioned DJ is voiced by Lannie Chan, who also worked as one of the female voiceovers for RPN 9. Finally in 2009, the station recruited female (and later, male) DJs on board, following the 'less talk, more music' style.

In 2014, Home Radio had an experiment in fitting itself into the ever-popular 'Masa' format, with its new slogan "Natural!"; that same year, the station was renamed as Natural 97.9. Managed by Bryan "Idol T-Bone" Quitoriano, with the air team retained, they were named after fruits.

However, the Home Radio brand came back on November of the same year, and in April 2015, it slowly shifted to a Top 40 format with an emphasis on OPM, simply known as CHR Local. By the end of the year, Home Radio shifted to a full-fledged Top 40 station with Braggy Braganza taking over the station's management, and this is where the station had adopted its own catchphrase "The Home of the Millennials".

But in June 2017, Home Radio 97.9 (now pronounced as nine-seven-nine) abruptly discontinued its programming and restored the old easy listening format while adopting the new slogan "It Feels Good to be Home". Braganza later stated that the sudden overhaul to the station was done in order to target a broader audience and to increase Home Radio's sales.
