I loved the first one so much! The story and universe caught me to the point I bought the Multiverse Edition for Switch after finishing the game on Steam as a thank you and recognition to Tom's work! Thank you, Tom! Amazing news!

one thing i love about Axiom Verge 2 is the sumerian imagery, in the original it was used mostly in naming the variants, but now that giant sculpture in the thumbnail speaks for itself

While i do miss Techno-Horror atmosphere of the original and it's dark color pattern,
I still do enjoy the Sumerian aesthetic of the new game. Who knows, maybe Sudrans are Humans led by Indra? Maybe Trace and Indra's stories are interconnected like Infinity Sign.
I am very interested in it's Worldbuilding aspect. Some ruins in this trailer remind me of Edin.
And screenshot at the bottom of Axiom Verge 2 official page reminds me of Eribu, the first area in Axiom Verge 2. Perhaps it's a... Sequel-Prequel, as history is literally cycled?

I have *Axiom Verge: Multiverse Edition* for the Switch. If Axiom Verge 2 eventually gets a physical release, I hope it will get a special edition like the first one, which is a great game.
