Making a HOLLYWOOD LEVEL Action-Thriller Movie Poster Design!

In today's video I'm attempting to create a poster similar to those Hollywood produces. Using #Photoshop I make various different elements which I all put together into one final EPIC result! The result is okay in my opinion, but definitely doesn't beat the previous attempt we did! As you all know my opinion about some recent posters is mixed. To me some are fantastic, and others are horrendous. This video can hopefully give you some insight and perspective into what it takes to make a decent cliché movie poster. Of course this is all for fun, and I’m able to call all the shots. That’s the biggest difference in this field of course.

The highlights seem off on this one, but the overall poster came out great. The concept and execution were also amazing.

As an amateur graphic design lover this is so fun to watch. Id love to see more videos and series like this. I feel like this new poster look a little busy and not as cohesive (the colour) comparing to the previous come. The big face, the maze, and the red title all want attention, yet none of them are strong enough to dictate most of the attention. I notice the title, despite being red, has a value that’s close to the background (so if you turn everything black-and-white the title wouldn’t stand out too much ). My eye-line sort of jump from one to the next, instead of flowing smoothly from one to the next, like the previous poster. Maybe the maze in the background can be more faded since it’s for the vibe. Also the modern action/thrill posters are typically more simplistic and edgy feeling. So maybe less elements, or the illusion of less elements can sell the poster more. My fav type of action movie poster is the intense/in the action ones, like Jurassic Park (dude riding a motorcycle, dashing through the dark wood among dinosaurs) It’s typically very bold and it makes the viewer wonder what’s going on and make them want to know what happens next. This design overall look balance and safe, not dangerous and edgy. Another thing I notice is the female lead’s skin is very smooth with no skin texture, resulting in a video game look, instead of a realistic HP camera movie look

I think it looks really convincing, the only thing that kinda looks off is Jenna but the vibe is really cool, also I dunno if it was the gun but Morgan looked more like the antagonist (?) cool video, at this point I hope he ends up doing official promo for movies and series
