Given that this movie was from Sony, who also made Madame Web, was such a letdown. Mario, Sonic, and The Last of Us projects were top tiers in video game adaptations. I swear, Nintendo really needs to have full control over the Zelda movie since it’s also with Sony, like GODDAMN. Sony is truly ruining everything after their Spider-Man spinoff projects.

The problem with video game adaptation is a lot of these games like borderlands, fallout and Mario weren’t made to be films, they were made to show you what video games can do, so adapting from one format to another is gonna be a challenge, same with comics, something like watchmen and maus is a comic that can only exist in comic form

The fact that most of the main cast is 40+ even though the characters in the game are late 20s early 30s was enough to know it would be bad.

This movie should’ve been Rated R man… the Borderlands games were Rated M, especially Eli Roth is the guy who directed horror gore movies before, why hire and then made him make a PG-13 movie? this completely ruined the sources material. Would’ve been better as the TV series
