Thank you for showing your fans that you can camp and hike throughout California as long as you avoid the reservation system in the touristy spots. I love Shelter Cover grew up going there with my grandparents and family for a week or two every summer to escape the heat in the valley.

Enjoyed the trek along the Lost Coast Beach! Was touring the California coast last year and stopped in Fort Bragg for a night and also Eureka. Nice video of Northern coast California!

Absolutely loving this video. Reminds me of the coastal area north of Lisbon and Cascais in Portugal (seen your trip there back in 2016) although a lot more vast. Again a great hiking video from California!

Just did the Amtrak Coast Starlight train ride from Seattle to Los Angeles a couple days ago and saw some really nice California coastline.

It's the sneaker waves that get you. Can't really prepare except by staying far back.

That's another good point Gabriel! Apart from the stones in the waves. The Alps, dipping clothing into water to keep cool. Having not gone so far as to actually wear a top that way but having taken off a sweated out t-shirt wore a dry one to then feel the affects of the heat at the seaside also across the land under the sun to discover that putting the cool wet t-shirt around back of neck helped to feel cooler finding that out;) works.
