🏡 University Campus | Let's Play Cities: Skylines #13

Welcome to Cities: Skylines! This Cities Skylines Mass Transit DLC Playthrough will focus on me learning the game, getting started and having YOU help me! We will focus on good design and nice looking areas as best as we can, hopefully working later on detailing! Lets Play Cities Skylines together, comment below any ideas! In this episode, we continue to work on our university campus.

Cities: Skylines is a city-building game by Colossal Order and published by Paradox Interactive, released in March 2015 for Microsoft Windows, OS X, and Linux; an Xbox One version, which is ported by Tantalus Media, was released in April 2017. The game is a single player open-ended city-building simulation. Players engage in urban planning by controlling zoning, road placement, taxation, public services, and public transportation of an area. Players work to maintain the city's budget, population, health, happiness, employment, pollution (land, water and noise), traffic flow, and other factors. The player can also play in a sandbox mode with two mods that come preinstalled in the game, ready to enable: these unlock all milestones and provide unlimited money to the player.

But the last little road you made, isn't that just leading the traffic out to the same road, they just came from? Or am I missing something? :')

you could try using a highway type of road in roundabouts. They help traffic flow as they have a higher top speed (but you could just use traffic president to change the speed) and they have three lanes

Your response to flooding the city diametrically opposes mine. I panicked COMPLETELY, you were like 'oh, I flooded half the city, oh well.' Lol! :D

For roundabouts, I generally use traffic president to remove any lights and set up priority signs so that cars entering the roundabout yield to cars on the roundabout.

I am still enjoying this series. Today, i'm going between playing my game and watching your videos. Sometimes I need a breather before I move onto my next section. This game can be overwhelming when trying to decide what to do next.

I don't play this game so I dont know for sure, but i think you can make the university area a county? or like a zone? i forgot what those things are called for whatever reason. but then for that area you can set a high rise ban and keep the residential high density and then i think maybe the buildings will look a little more how you want them to
