I was getting frustrated. Learning new things in your teens & twenties is much easier than when you are 50+. Then I was passively listening to a cooking show. 🎉🎉🎉 I understood part of what was said. THANK YOU.

Thank you so much for doing these beginner lessons, Manu. I started learning Italian about 2 months ago after my trip to Rome, but it's hard to find the right place that will take me from beginner to intermediate.

Thank you for all your help. If I want to say, "I can speak Italian." Would I say "Posso parla Italiano, " o, "Posso parlare Italiano?" Do both work to say the same thing? Thank you!!

Ciao, Manu! Prima di tutto, grazie mille di aver fatto questi video!

Ho una domanda: benché non hai fatto un esempio simile, suppongo che se l'aggettivo comincia per Z, S + consonante, eccetera, l'articolo deve cambiare, vero? Ad esempio:

Il ragazzo stupido -- Lo stupido ragazzo

I have to learn that "Il treno terzo arriva." seems to be the wrong way to say "The third train arrives". It's "Il terzo treno arriva.", as an italian friend said to me. For me (as a german) it's not easy to know when to put it in front of the noun and when to put it behind. Maybe more passive learning (listening) will fix it ...

So if it is ok to put mio before the object...why did Italian language decide to put it after?

The last example, isn't it suppose to be LA BELL'ARTISTA since the Bella and artista are feminine🤔
And il is for singular masculine right

baggyjeans_reese

Wouldn't it be la bell'artista? Since artists is femenine singular

why?
mio amico (no apostrophe)
bell'artista (apostrophe)
