This month, return to the sands of Tatooine. The Book of Boba Fett, an all-new Original series, starts streaming December 29 on @DisneyPlus.

“The Book of Boba Fett,” a thrilling Star Wars adventure teased in a surprise end-credit sequence following the Season 2 finale of “The Mandalorian,” finds legendary bounty hunter Boba Fett and mercenary Fennec Shand navigating the galaxy’s underworld when they return to the sands of Tatooine to stake their claim on the territory once ruled by Jabba the Hutt and his crime syndicate.



“The Book of Boba Fett” stars Temuera Morrison and Ming-Na Wen. Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Robert Rodriguez, Kathleen Kennedy and Colin Wilson are the executive producers. Karen Gilchrist and Carrie Beck serve as co-executive producers, with John Bartnicki producing and John Hampian as co-producer.

This Gen X-er NEVER EVER expected to see the return of Boba Fett to Star Wars onscreen. That he not only returns, but in an episodic series starring Temuera Morisson and under the direction of Robert Rodriguez, fulfills the wishes and fills the heart of this lifelong Star Wars fan : ) We're going to get a peek behind the mystery that has captivated us for over FORTY I count myself profoundly fortunate to see this story told by that cool quiet guy from college who drew those awesome comic strips in the college newspaper and wound up making EL MARIACHI, DESPERADO, SPY KIDS, and ALITA:BATTLE ANGEL. Robert Rodriguez is the ultimate Star Wars fan, right up there with Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau. And for all the Boba Fett fans over the years who sadly never made it to now and are gone, may The Force Be With Them. Always 😇
