My all-time favorite pianist. Such grace, power, delicacy, sensitivity, depth and joy, he is like a human embodiment of the water element expressed through music. Oh, my heart...

Wow nearly 70 years later we can be elated but the wonderful Rubenstein filling the room with virtuosity and nuanced delicacy. What a master of the piano & interpreter of Chopin. Joy.

I don't know what's most impressive, his playing skills or the fact he seems to know every piece of F.Chopin's work absolutely perfectly

Rubinstein was so natural and unaffected at the keyboard, it's as if the piano were a natural extension of his physical being. This fascinating footage captures him at the very zenith of his illustrious career. If I may cherry pick, for me his playing of the Nocturne is simply magical and out of this world. As for the great Polonaise one can only say that Rubinstein truly owned this heroic work.

Horowitz is my all time favorite pianist. Rubinstein is definetly a close second. But the more I listen to Rubenstein the more pieces that I would prefer his over Horowitz. Like the nocturne that he plays in this video near the end is like…. whattt?! the prettiest piece ever.

Synchronisation is a lot better in the speaking parts than hands on keys!
