I’ve used Aoemi for several years now. It works well but I worry a bit it is a Chinese company.

Not sure if it's true but I'm sure I read somewhere that choosing the 'system backup' option in AOMEI doesn't actually backup all the partitions necessary to perform a full disk re-image. Might be worth investigating since it may explain how it managed to shave 15 minutes off the backup time compared to Macrium.

Old mate - sorry mate but i don't think this review is complete. Perhaps the "backup" was fast true however, does it restore properly? I get you don't wanna blow out the main system. But I'd challenge this to go a step further in maybe a vm where you do a backup of the system etc note the time of backup and restore. Maybe going so far to blow out the vm drive where its wrecked and doing a restore. Then do restore and see based on the existing backup system you already use to get a better review. Then lets see what happens and your opinion. Food for thought boyo cheers! Not bashing at all but just an idea.
