i have java 8 however i am still receiving the error while trying to run 1.12.2

Still didn't work for me. Downloaded Java 18 and installed it to play 1.18 but still got the same error that a certain javaw.exe file isnt found. I looked at the shown trace where it should be and found that it rlly does not exist even with java installed. So I deinstalled Minecraft and Java and reinstalled Java first and then Minecraft because I thought Minecraft would simply put it there when installing instead. Didn't work.
So I manually created the folders that were missing and put the java files (bin... etc) where they were supposed to be. And it worked.

Had to create and put the Java files into the last one.

Maybe someone got the same issue.
