The soothing music and non-confrontational gameplay encourages the player to adopt a zen-like state, but then the game reaches under your skin with a creepy atmosphere that becomes more disturbing the longer you play.

Someone should make a game about travelling, in a medieval world. It should be about you travelling and nothing else, you won't be going on an epic quest to save anything. Just a wanderer like Marco Polo or Evliya Çelebi, but while you are travelling it should also give you the story of the world you are in; for example you were travelling and decided to rest at a nearby in, you can listen to other people talk and see what's up, or you can engage in a conversation with the innkeeper. I mean I would play it, also if there is a game like this please tell me.

When you mentioned it was procedural generated space and planets it freaked me out a little, I was just thinking about that today, but with equations to generate more equations for planets or stuff like that. I like it :D

Oh my god finally! I have waited and waited to find a game which does this disturbing/zen thing. I somehow felt this way while watching an amnesia letsplay but have never found a game which can do it to me as Im playing it, but here it finally is! Thank you for this marvelous discovery James!
Its kinda the same way I experience Lovecraft stories. Even though they are tales of disturbing horror, I find them strangely relaxing, to the point where I use them in audiobook format for sleep. The fear of the unknown is something I find very interesting and I can't wait to check this game out. Thank you again!

This reminds me so much of a flash game Fischer Diver which attempted the same sort of dissonance of peace and discomfort that this game accomplished

James, have you read Aniara? It's a Swedish poem about a doomed, off course spaceship floating forever through space. It's more or less what got Harry Martinson his Nobel Prize.

I recently picked this up on steam and I love the aesthetic. It is an exploration game but it only took me 20 or so minutes to the point where it seemed that I could survive forever. After 2 hours of play, the only things I unlocked didn't really impact the game. I liked the game, but I think it should have shown me more than it did to keep me interested in the exploration aspect.

I found a good amount of enjoyment from this game. I've gone as far as the last chapter and I think my game time is around 4 hours. The difficulty ramps up quite steeply in the last part, it might take another 4 to complete.
