Awesome video, makes me want to get another degree, not to create deep fakes, but to detect them…it’s unnerving. I have a question that is controversial. I’m not saying Cristina Bahena Rivera is not guilty (accused killer of Mollie Tibbetts), but the CCTV video the prosecution used to prove his guilt looked edited to my eyes. There seemed to be markers like leaves to indicate the boundaries for the car as it moved. Only the leaves where the eyes naturally focused on the car moved in the wind. There seemed to be repetitive detail in the background to erase or slightly move objects to get a better view of the car, which also looked edited.

I know absolutely nothing about cctv except that the quality is for the birds.

I think deep fakes is the worst thing, as it can bring society to react and believe things that are not real. It's manipulation of the mind in the worst way. Can you imagine reacting to the appearance of what someone is thought to have said, but didn't? This is how morals and ethics breakdown. What the movie Wag the Dog.

I think at this point it will be too difficult for humans to detect it. I do think though that all videos should be in the highest resolution and that should be helpful. We need to build the internet up for incredible high speeds. All video broadcast must be in high resolution.
