Andante in C Major, No.2, Op.241 by Ferdinando Carulli (1770-1841). Free PDF sheet music for late-beginner or easy-intermediate classical guitar with video lesson and performance.

This comes from Carulli’s Méthode Op.241. This is a great piece for the arpeggios and meledic textures involving all the right hand fingers. It also offers some dynamic contrasts to work on and more rapid arpeggios for the late-beginner or early intermediate.

This is part of a collection of easy supplemental pieces after my free Classical Guitar Method Volume 1. or during my Classical Guitar Method Volume 2. The collection I'm forming will add a few extra pieces for students to play before they move on to my graded series or just for enjoyment and extra practice.

It is always so great to watch your videos. Thank you for providing so much content for free and, from what I can tell, introducing so many people to the world of music. In my experience a lot of “classical” teachers are very gate-keepey and it’s refreshing to see someone just being so welcoming.

I can’t also stress enough how awesome it is that you always bring up the musicality aspect. It is so easy to get caught up in thinking about performing music as just a purely technical/physical challenge.

P.S. I would be very thankful if you could think of a piece that is similar in its complexity to the one in the video but is a bit darker/gloomier/dissonant (can’t find the right word), but please don't feel obligated.. only if it takes you 15 second to remember. My left hand is miles ahead of my picking technique so I don’t feel comfortable progressing to something more advanced but a lot of “beginner” to “late beginner” pieces are in C major ( first position, C/G/F) and they start to sound really samey.
