Kid Kash could've been where Jeff Hardy went on to be if booked correctly!

Kid Kash's career is an odd one. He had all the skill in the ring anyone could hope for and a perfect physique but he had zero mic skills. He was on par with Rey Mysterio Jr. skill wise but was never able to connect to the crowd. He should have been having legendary matches in ECW with the likes of Candido Douglas, Super Crazy, Guido, and Tajiri. In WCW he should have been going against any and all the cruiserweights on that stacked roster. Guys like Kidman, Rey, Konnan, Malenko, Benoit, Eddie, Chavo, Psychosis, Prince Iaukea etc. but kept away from guys like Jericho who could talk circles around Kash and kill his image in the process. Kept away from jobbing to the nWo or larger midcarders. He should have been huge but is often forgotten because of bad booking on stacked rosters.

Underrated "King of the Ropes." So fluid with each dive he did, be it in the ring or out.

I think I recall him running up a turnbuckle and doing a frankensteiner on CW Anderson-who was STANDING on the top rope at the time!
Blew my mind!

Kid Kash is a legend 🫡 his hurricanrana reversal on Juio Dinero is an ALL TIME GOATED move. From a top rope powerbomb too 😳

I remember being pumped when he signed to WCW. Then he was quickly jobbed out and WCW went out of business.

Kid Kash is interesting because his career has two different wrestling styles and he changed over time. He’s a really smart worker.

In his younger days in the 90s and early 2000s he was an insane high flyer who used all sorts of weird springboard moves and dives to the outside.

Then in the mid 2000s onward as he got older he transitioned to a more traditional wrestling brawler who basically never left the mat. He threw lots really stiff punches/kicks/closelines and used a big variety of suplexes. He had put on more muscle and was basically a Cruiserweight version of William Regal or Finlay.

Kid Kash had no charisma, no mic skills..he was physically gifted but he couldn't tell a story
