One of the issues you raised is something I've had experience recently. I use a pixel 3a and while I was on holiday I dropped it and smashed the screen. As a kind of stopgap experiment I purchased a Xiaomi Mi 9t, On paper it has vastly superior specs, snap dragon 730 vs the Pixels 670, 4000mah battery vs 3000, the list is endless. but once I replaced the Pixel 3a's screen and started using it again, in every respect it performed as a better phone. smoother, faster, games played notably smoother even higher end games, which really surprised me. It just goes to show how important software optimization actually is. I put the Xiaomi in eBay within an hour of fixing the Pixel.

I’m a dedicated iPhone user but was considering buying the Pixel 4 for my first experience of android. I decided not to over poor battery life reviews and lack of a wide angle camera and 4K video at 60fps.

I have the first pixel and when I get my next phone it will be another pixel for sure unless I find a decently priced Samsung. The pictures are perfect for me and the simplicity is amazing for just going on YouTube or Facebook without lag or hassle

What I like about Pixel 4 is the 90Hz display. Nice to see high refresh rate displays gaining traction.

My original pixel is still working. The battery is the original one and only gets 3 houres at max of on screen time. My screen is really yellow and kinda burned up. I might buy the new one

Not to mention they stopped offering free Google Photos original quality storage for the Pixel 4 while you can backup HEIF photos on iPhones without it being compressed a single bit.

Nice job on the video...But I see you left out talking about Google’s best pixel phones which are Pixel 3a/xl in my opinion. Both of those phones come with almost the exact same camera experience as the more expensive ones and they come with the same software experience which is really why you buy a pixel phone. Really good job on the video but I would be interested on your thoughts on the cheaper the pixels

No ultra wide, low base storage, arguably bland design, average video quality, mediocre battery life, overpriced, among other things and it makes sense why the Pixel 4 series will flop harder than it's predecessor.

Thanks Ryan, I'll not waste my cash on a pixel 4. I've been saving up for the mate 30 but due to the entity listing I'm thing the xiaomi mi mix 3 5G instead. I loved my mix 2s and my mate 20. What's your thoughts on the mi mix 3 5G?

In 2017 I bought a pixel 2xl, and returned it to by the OnePlus 5t. Ever since I returned the pixel 2xl I have regretted it and longex to buy another pixel. Once I have enough saved up I'm definitely going to buy the pixel 4xl.

Good phone or not, I want it to fail. Google deserves it, because for the price their demanding they have to start learning a few things. When apple makes a phone that is THAT much more complete there's a problem. ESPECIALLY when the base model is less than a pixel.
