I'm currently selling these to try the controversially non-dynamic but ultra fast instead Magnepan's. These NHT's got good reviews, and do satisfy me as the really good NHT bookshelves I'd heard, except full height with a bass driver added on for 50% more $. It's just that, for only a bit more, I can get the entry level Maggies or else the only slightly more $ Vandersteen's, which reviewers often say beat all dynamic speakers up to their price at everything, including dynamic driver speed. If the Maggies don't work out, which would probably be because of lower drum dynamics, I'll try the Vandersteen's. But, since these are still selling used for less than either of those used, these could be your right speakers for this price, for sure. I haven't even bi-wired mine, so they're actually better than I'm hearing, anyways.
