The Australian movement and passing was great, the two wingers look excellent. Clearly their ball handling in contact is an issue. But they look good. South Africa are also improving a lot. Excited for next year at hte RWC

Wow considering the gap in ranking and Swys being or coach for less than 3 months Springboks Ladies are growing fast in next years world cup seeing the up setting some bigger team's.

Nr.10 is s really good play maker only problem is in SA blits defence forwards is gonna run that channel, big ones. Aswell the defence needs time to gel thats why some women got caught out of position and against wingers thats the worst cause they just step and bam their past you. The old bok ladies wouldve lost badly but with the new coaches and game plan we nearly caught up to a very good Ausie team. Im certain we'll make it into the top 10 if not 8 on the rankings.

The SA ladies are improving, that is for sure. Their conditioning and handling needs to improve if they hope to compete against the best consistently.

This is the first women's rugby highlights package I've ever watched, and it was disappointing as expected. U16 boys play a higher standard of rugby.

The structure of the WXV tournament could offer something for the men's game, as it puts sides of similar level against each other. Compare with having a pretty awful Oz men's XV (their ranking of 9-10 is about right) up against SA and NZ. There are commercial issues in this format (England are not happy about playing in Canada to small crowds when they can draw many times the numbers at home) that may count against it longer term. Some really enjoyable rugby on display here, congrats to both sides.

By the way, for all those coming on here to troll the SA 10 - it is easy to critique tackling when you are tapping away on your keyboard. Also, try looking past the obvious and you will commonly see a structural issue that means the tackle is harder to make, as here. In the second Oz try, the SA defence bites in and opens up the space so that the last defender (here the 10), gets caught in no man's land between two players. This issue arose more than once and suggests a side coming to grips with their defensive set up. The tackle efforts could be better but show some respect for those who are actually doing it.

This ref refused to give the Springbok woman any penalties at the scrum. SA dominated at the scrums, they would have won this hands down 😮

S A should have played their bench sooner and it looked like they played twelve forwards and three backs at the start, got beaten in speed and agility easily when Australia went wide but when their bench was cleared was a lot better
