I got one of those as a birthday present in the 1980s, it has an inlay print of a tent & “CAMPING”. Still use it!

Fidgeting with the caplifter, no that's just you Matt. Perfectly suited for any outdoors activity. Thank you.

I’ve had one for over a decade. Love it. Has never failed me

The Camper is one of those knives I don't ever want to be without. Really like that one. Have a great weekend, buddy!

The Camper is a solid choice for an EDC and a jaunt through the woods so long as Paddy the sailor isn't tagging along. Be well Slippy. ☘

Great video Matt! I like the fidget with the cap lifter as well. You already know it's one of my favorite saks, carried it for 20 years. Thank you for sharing!

This is a great SAK and I gave one to my eldest son for his birthday a few years ago now, I have my young lad a Hiker; which is the exact same but has the Philip driver in lieu of the Corkscrew. Thanks for sharing and Cheers!

Fun fact: the shield is actually a totally separate piece of metal that gets stamped out of a roll of steel, is inspected for proper quality, and placed into the scales (via some method they don't reveal).

I have one in my pocket as I'm typing this. I pair it with a Classic SD on my keychain and use one or both every single day. Three layers for the main knife is my sweet spot for pocket carry. Nice review of one of my favorite SAKs

I just ordered 3 of these for family members for Xmas, and also yes I’m with you on the fidgeting with the bottle opener. It’s the perfect fidget!

It's certainly a great choice for lighter weight carry whilst camping ! I think ( though I could be wrong. I don't know every SAK lol ) that you only get the parcel hook if you have the scissors. I don't know why they do it that way, but it seems that that is what they do lol.

I too find myself fidgeting with my Swiss Army knife! I fidgeted with my Hunter model in Masonic Lodge tonight!

I think you’re the only one fidgeting with the bottle opener! Personally I don’t fidget with the bottle opener because I fidget with the blade!…..I’ve cut myself very badly many times….😅

The shield is still metal in most cases and applied, it can actually be removed if you have an newer style scale you can
see a little hole in the back which I believe you can insert a pin and push the shield out the front. I have seen painted
shields like on the nylon scales but they are usually white in color.

Honestly this, a higokami knife, and a lighter are pretty much my EDC my swiss army camper by far takes the cake as far as my tools goes. As someone who works at at a bar and is also out and about enough I still just find the SAK extremely handy rather I'm outdoors or indoors.

The other end to the scale tools is a 4th hidden tool slot!

I fidget with all the tools on my Swiss Army knives, especially in the car. 😆

You got one with plus scales!? They usually don't come with the ink pen! Nice!
