Scania Super Green Truck 2024

Each year, all the manufacturers of heavy trucks in Europe are invited to the Green Truck comparison test. It is organised by two German trade magazines to identify the most transport-efficient long-haul truck. Scania has been named “Green Truck” for seven out of the last eight tests.

I've been driving a new Scania 2024 for 2-3 months now, and I'm not satisfied at all. The navigation shows that I'm in Stockholm, but my truck is in Slovenia. The Bluetooth often doesn't work. The radio turns on by itself at night, even when the keys are out of the truck. The screens have turned off several times, and I had to disconnect the batteries to get them working again. The main problem for me is that there is no information on the display about the tachograph, which is the most important thing for me as a truck driver. I have been to an authorized Scania service center in Slovenia several times, and they told me they couldn't help; my only hope is when a new software update comes out. Thumbs down from me. 👎👎👎
