Im pretty sure Nickelodeon knew the entire time dan Schneider was bad around the early mid 2000s and did nothing about it till dan's shows started to lose ratings in the late 2010s.

*The Tarnished Legacy of John Kricfalusi - The Ren and Stimpy Show
-What is it with Nickelodeon show creators and them falling from grace? Dan Schnieder, John Kricfalusi, and Chris Savino (More on him later) have all been fired from Nickelodeon.
To fans of Ren and Stimpy, the show's creator, John Kricfalusi (AKA John K) was a genius. But to the people behind the scenes, he was horrible. There were a lot of reasons to why John Kricfalusi was fired from Nickelodeon, from the show's suggestive content to repeatedly missing episode deadlines to Kricfalusi himself being overly-demanding and creating a hostile work environment. But the final straw seemed to be the pulled episode "Man's Best Friend."
But that wasn't the end, John K then rebooted the series with the universally-despised "Ren and Stimpy Adult Party Cartoon." Widely regarded as among the worst cartoons of all time. Even worse, former Spumco artists came forward about underage grooming from Kricfalusi.
In 2020, a Ren and Stimpy reboot was announced, but due to the controversies surrounding him, John K wil have no creative input or involvement.
Moral of this Story: Work within your deadlines, be nice to your teammates, and just because you're a big nerd, it doesn't mean you're "one of us."
*Bringing Down The House - The Loud House
-Chris Savino was an animation veteran. Being involved in such shows as Ren and Stimpy, Rocko's Modern Life, Hey Arnold, The Angry Beavers, My Life as a Teenage Robot, The Powerpuff Girls, Dexter's Laboratory, and Whatever Happened To Robot Jones. He would later go on to create The Loud House, a much-needed hit for Nickelodeon after a string of hit-or-miss programming. After all, for every TMNT 2012 and Legend of Korra, there was a Breadwinners or Pig Goat Banana Cricket. Unfortunately, during The Loud House's 2nd season, Savino was fired from Nickelodeon and the show following multiple long-standing sexual harassment allegations that went back over a decade. In his place, Michael Rubiner took over as showrunner, and Nickelodeon continued to make The Loud House without Savino's involvement.

Fifty infamous TV scandals? Wow, I learned about some seriously wild things that happened behind the scenes of some of my favorite shows.

It was Bill Cosby’s that was such a shock/shame. I had watched his stuff since the 70’s and I don’t know anyone who didn’t love him and think amazingly highly of him. I didn’t believe the accusations at all until I saw the interview where HE SAID- basically- “ that’s just what we did back then”😢
