I actually know this game. I know the sold version, but I never knew you could play it with normal dice. Thanks Cole for another wonderful tutorial. I would love a tutorial on The Lonely Dead. It's not the type of game you would do a tutorial on but I can't say it's a bad game. It's an amazing game that I don't understand the full rules. Even if you can't do a tutorial, try it out yourself. It's great fun! Love your channel!

I've also heard of people playing this game using cards if dice weren't available. They picked 7 cards to be "safe". 2 cards that required tokens to be passed to the left, 2 cards that required tokens to be passed to the right and 2 cards that required tokens to go in the pot. Also usually 2 decks were used so there would be less reshuffling as the cards got used up.

I generally prefer games that are not 100% luck based but I can appreciate the simplicity of a game like this especially for younger people

I’ve seen editions where there is a “wild” meaning you can take from someone’s pile if rolled. But they didn’t say which roll would do that. Do you know?

so what happens if the last person doesnt roll a 5 to win? Does each player pick up a chip and try again?
