I heard an Englishman say once “If Americans knew how well Brad played a pikey, he would have gotten an Oscar”

One of my absolutely all time favorite movies. Brilliant writing, casting and directing. Brad Pitt and Jason Stratham’s best performances. I love the fight scene at the end. The build up, the brutality, the zinger. I could watch this movie over and over and every time find something new to love about it. My kids are sick of me quoting it. LOL

Brad Pitt's best performance and not even close.

Snatch is an absolute cinematic masterpiece! Every aspect from the littlest background noise to casting was flawless. So many storylines with so many unique & powerful performances that were all beautifully entwined to tell a single story. It’s just a phenomenally genius piece of work that will stand the test of time & still be talked about for generations!

Pitts punch into water visual.... so extremely well done, and you understand its symbolism instinctively. And when he snaps up and lays out the other guy, its seems like the only logical conclusion. Man I love this movie. Made Guy Richie a legend.

This movie was perfect in every aspect. Pitt's best performance ever. That freeze frame shot with the look on Brad's face in contrast to the shock on the other two is just brilliant.

"Brad Pitt called up Guy Ritchie to see if the filmmaker had any part for him in his new film, Ritchie said "yes", but after the phone conversation ended, Ritchie realized that he offered Pitt a part in Snatch that did not exist. He rewrote the movie with a part for Pitt: Mickey O'Neil."
Sometimes a re-write for an actor turns out well.. wonder what it would have been otherwise.

When this movie came out a buddy of mine went and saw it.
Few days later we went to the movies and he said “we have to see Snatch!! It’s awesome!!!”
I knew nothing about it. Never heard of it. So I went into the theater blind.
I’ll always be grateful to that bastard for never spoiling a moment of that movie.

I've watched this film so many times I basically know the entire script off by heart. This particular scene gives me goosebumps. Oasis tune in the background and a sublime KO from Mickey, you can't go wrong

"If you want your friend to hear you, you'll have to talk a lot louder than that"

This scene shows the brutality of organized crime.
It also demonstrates that someone like Brick Top who thought he was invincible, was only feared by his own men.

This is the greatest part of the movie. You don’t know what’s going to happen. You think the Pikey is going to throw the fight and that chaos erupts with Brick Top going on a rampage getting everyone back and the Pikey doesn’t know what he’s in for. But no, the Pikey knew exactly what was going down and stayed on top of the whole situation, helping out Jason’s character and getting sweet revenge for his mother. One of the best movies of all time.

Brad Pitt Nails the role in Snatch and after his performance in the Mexican. We need more movies like guy Ritchie's snatch, it's funny and it's just a guy movie. Well done, the pikers were always one step ahead of the Criminal greed in the world. The cast is top notch and never a dull moment.

This movie never gets old. Pitt at his best, alongside "The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button". "Meet Joe Black" is up there, too.

How nice of Achilles to play with his prey like that.

The out of body experience part ( mikey falling into the water ) is goose bump triggering!!!
