Also I know that this ship may not resonate with some of you and you may have your own head cannons which I don't really mind but it doesn't mean that you have to discourage other people and tell them that they are wrong. This video is NOT an area for you to complain about the ship and tear other people down for believing in the ship, in fact you shouldn't really do that with any ship (unless it's problematic and causes harm). A far as I see it Luiasy is cannon because of the multiple references in games and a specific Nintendo power interview. But I can see how people don't believe in it because it's undeveloped like a lot of Mario character relationships.

Daisy has statues dedicated to her love for Luigi, he must be the most amazing boyfriend on the planet if she went as far as to put it on display for her kingdom. Also the fact she called him sweetie is absolutely adorable!

I love Daisy and Luigi’s relationship more than Mario and Peach. Unlike the latter, who both suffer from one-dimensional personalities, Luigi and Daisy’s personalities are not only more interesting but also work well off each other. Luigi is the shy but sweet guy who’s easy to scare while Daisy is the tough tomboy princess who doesn’t take nonsense from anyone. Their both polar opposites yet compliment each other so well. I can easily imagine Daisy as the female-husband who always stands up for Luigi and push him to be more self-confidant, while Luigi helps Daisy calm down and serve as her emotional support when it comes to her fiery temper. It’s just so cute and I wish Nintendo would do more with them…

Having now seen the new movie, I reckon Luigi & Daisy could be a good subplot for a sequel – especially considering the film's characterisation of Luigi as someone a touch insecure of how Mario has always looked out for him since childhood.

I don’t know if this is true or not, but apparently in an interview it’s stated that Mario and Peach aren’t in a committed relationship but Luigi and Daisy are. Luigi literally gets more game than his brother and his brother is more popular in-universe!
