Thank God for this, ever since 7.01 my console ran like an overheating GameCube. Even after initializing, but after this morning almost all my menu lag is gone, I'm actually having fun again.

I live in Ontario Canada 🇨🇦 and have just updated to 7.50 and all seem to be good.
It tool less that two minutes to install and when it rebooted all seemed ok

I updated it today and the games freeze and I can do absolutely nothing, I have a ps4 pro and before the update it was normal but after this update it is slow and I can not load any game

After the update i was not able to play mw because it wont read my disk. It was working completely fine the day before. The disk is clean too. It also makes a weird noise when i put it in. It sounds as if it ejects and pulls the disk back on after about 20 seconds of reading it.

Am I the only person having the problem where the controller light will stay on but the buttons are unresponsive after like 10 minutes of the controller being on? Like I keep rebooting and resyncing the controller but it keeps doing it

My PS 4 Pro is fine after updates so no issues with uncharted and/or any other game(s).. Taking care of it fine when i finish the game i just delete it and turn off before sleep...

After this update i have pixelated pop in games. Mostly in hair and skin, characters animations and sometimes grass e.t.c

So the consensus is that the update in some shape or form messed up alot of the pros...seems either this was on purpose because of the new consoles or Sony just isn't owning up that they accidentally messed up alot of people stuff....but either way I would like answers....literally after the 7.50 update my system has crashed completely and not working at all and just saying, I might be moving systems here soon if they dont decide to reimburse for the system or fix the problem.

Updated my PS4 Pro on this version

TONS OF PROBLEM HAPPENED TO ME.

1.) Infinite boot up loop. Turning on my PS4, the logo appears and after that, nothing. Just black screen. Though I was able to fix it, this is just the start.

2.) Finally got out of the loop. Logging in to my account, I was finally able to access the main menu. You know what happens? IT CRASHES EVERY 5 DAMN MINUTES with an error code CE-36329-3.

3.) If it doesn’t crash, the PS4 LAGS WAY TOO OFTEN. It sometime freezes for 5-10 seconds whenever I press friends or any other application.

4.) The lags/freezes doesn’t just happen in the main menu. It also happens when I’m playing a game. The music randomly stops, character freezes for 5 seconds, and many more

5.) Played Monster Hunter World: Iceborne. Basically, you join another player’s quest. The quest loads and when it is loaded, the loading screen appears and now you are in the quest with the player. That’s the usual way and it loads for just 15-20 Seconds. BUT AFTER THIS UPDATE, THE LOAD TIMES BECAME TOO LONG. It loads for about 5 minutes and when it is done, the quest has almost finished.

Now with all that, I thought that maybe the hard drive inside my PS4 was bricked but was not. I thought freeing up some space might finally fix the lag but nope. I went into safe mode and rebuilt my database but again, it’s a nope. Tried to re download the update and finally, IT’S STILL A DAMN NOPE. My last resort was to initialize but I don’t want to because of the files

I never had any problem with my PS4 Pro and it’s just 10 months old. I came into conclusion that this update really ruined it because I didn’t have any lags, freezes, or even crashes before. Maybe one or two but that’s just it.

Now I’m really desperate to find a solution. Searched Google, Reddit, and YouTube but to no avail. I’m exhausted and frustrated because of this one. Fucking. Update. Guess I’ll just wait for the next one.

My nephew installed the update through WiFi and problems begins after .
Errors pops in ce-36329-3 .
Game freezes for 2-3 sec .
Even main menu sometimes lag.
I cleaned the PS4 with hover then updated through safe mode .
It better now but still not running normally since the update .
Mine is PS4 slim purchased a year ago.
Don’t know what to do now 😔

Ps4 Pros are so damn problematic it’s so bad this is the second time since I’ve owned mine that I can’t get it to update and my disc drive went out since the last update as well my little brother has the OG ps4 and that thing updates so damn quick and hasn’t ever caused any updating issues

I had no problems with my ps4 until this update. Now my system freezes up and lags and I can’t play games it’s annoying.

After I downloaded the software update it showed the safe mode saying I have to put a 7.5 update and storage with usb it happened twice after first time I reinstalled default setting ... now I’m trying to find my usb and get going from there
