The thing is, he’s still alive. We need to cherish this man.

He's written some of the prettiest melodies of all time and this is a perfect example. Songs in the Key is simply on of the best albums ever.

It is said. Stevie asked his mother why he could not see, and she gently told him: "Because God has given you better eyes to see the world from your heart and soul". So you'll do better than the ones who can see. His real name is: " STEVELAND HARDAWAY MORRIS" and was born the 13th of May, 1950. By the 70s he had sold ONE HUNDRED MILLION DISCS.

Stevie's in the same elite group of musicians as Beethoven, Coltrane, and all the other legends.

He's alive!! Aren't we fortunate? One of the best musicians, song writers ever. Love ALL that he's done and his marvelous collaborations with other musicians. I love you forever, Stevie Wonder!!

The beautiful thing about Stevie is any civilian can enjoy the melody but when is musicians examine the harmony it's incredibly complex! Opening chords - || F#maj7 | F7 | Emaj7 | A7#11 | Bmaj7 | Dbsus | F#maj7 ||

Can anyone think of a 26 year old from the era we live in now that can even sing to this standard, let alone write songs as good as this one and most of the other material from Songs In The Key Of Life? Because that's what Stevie Wonder was in 1976, just 26 years old. Astounding. And this was a double album coming hot on the heels of Music Of My Mind, Talking Book, Innervisions and Fullfillingness' First Finale! All those masterpieces in 4 and a half years (early '72 - mid '76).
What a guy!

I've had the good fortune to grow up not to far from Detroit. So growing up, all I heard was Motown music. I love this man's music, he cannot make bad music!!!❤
