Thank you for taking the time to create this excellent instructional video. After watching your video I replaced my D-Pad in about 10 minutes.

thank you for the video. i just watched it. come to find out the chip for the buttons was knocked loose. i picked up the same model precore that your have in the video at an auction from our city gym. the problem i'm having now is it will not elevate or de-elevate. i took the motor out and hooked it up to a 12 volt and reversed to make sure it went both ways. and the motor works. but now i don't know what to do next. any help would be great. thanks.

Kent. The problem I had with my elliptical is that the down button for the resistance side of the d-pad did not work (it appeared to be worn out because it intermittently failed to work over time until it stopped working altogether). Replacing the d-pad took about 10 minutes and completely remedied the problem.

Can you tell me how to get to the motherboard behind the console of a Vision Fitness S70? I just about have it but the bottom appears to be screwed in such away that I can’t get to them 🤔

Do you have a video on how to replace the d-pad on a precor C956i treadmill?

Hi my Precor efx 576i is currently showing a bunch of symptoms. On the d button the incline and resistance buttons will only increase but not decrease when button is pressed. The cross ramp doesn’t react whatsoever when you adjust the incline however the resistance will increase only. Also this unit is battery powered whenever I stop striding the unit turn off immediately. Is this all perhaps a related to a voltage problem battery or charging issue? Error code 33 is also showing. Thanks

Kent. The problem is my resistance side works great but the up and down button on the left stopped working and the machine cuts off instantly when I stop paddling for a second. Do you think the d pad replacement will solve the issue? Thanks

p.s. i'm pretty sure it was working when i before i brought it home. i did drag it across a rough 10ft of assault. not sure if maybe i shook something loose. i went to the back and checked the cord to the computer board there and it's plugged in there..
