Leonardo AI Update: NEW Image Generation V2

Leonardo AI made a major update to the image generation user interface on May 24, 2024. This update, Image Generation V2, is a major overhaul that makes the Image Generation page (and many of the settings on it) a lot simpler.

In this video, we'll explore the new Leonardo AI Image Generation page and see how it works, where everything is, and what it all does. We'll look at how to generate images from a text prompt using the new Image Generation V2 page for folks who have never used Leonardo AI before. If you're already a Leonardo AI user, I'll show you things that have changed, how they work now compared to before, and where to find things that have moved or have been renamed.

Nice work. I was lucky to catch this video. Watched the video and took a look at the site. without your video I would have should up and said WTF is this, DUH! It actually looks easier. It looks like everythiing is compartmentalized, or i other words, orderly. I like it. Thanks and good work.

Like I discovered today when I dropped into get an image, I burned through 42 points on the first prompt. I'm used to 5 or 6 points, so I can test ideas and focus in on the final image. OUCH!!! I'm still not sure what I had done, but I quickly found the 'Legacy' option and switch. Of course, the switch didn't copy my previous work and I had to re-do that. By the 3rd iteration (50+) points later, I was back to using Leonardio as I've grown accustomed. I still have no idea why it was 7X more points for that initial image.

0:38 oh no 😞 the video tutorials are not obsolete. You can still get back to the old UI. After all those of us who love sketch to image or trained our own models still need to get back there. Plus you can't do remix with new UI and cannot control image size. So until the new UI can facilitate all that, the old one is still accessible via the legacy mode toggle switch in the top-right.

Canceling my account…the subscription scheme is just another way a greedy company rips you off…no token roll-over and no way to pause you subscription and use up the tokens you already paid for is a deal breaker for me…let me know when that changes and I would gladly pay for it.

Leonardo kinda sucks. Costs a lot and horrid results. Just do runpod.
