Today the Lord wanted me to share about my personal tithing journey.

Description of my ministry:

I am a wife of seventeen years, the mother of six, and the author of Raising Happy Hearts and Little Eyes That See The Glory. The latter is soon to be released.
My heart is to help mothers to raise their own happy hearts, as well as be awesome wives to their husbands.

So true even though I’m considered in the poverty category I’m retired and work an extra job. I tithe and the lord has always provided.

I stopped tithing and God has always provided. I am a giver and still give but I don't do it under compulsion and I purpose in my heart what I will give. And I do it with a cheerful heart. I was tithing to 501c3 organizations (they don't pay taxes) when I was tithing. I don't ever give to them now because they are hooked up to the Baal monetary system.

I do believe that God helped me to payoff my house, car…etc lf He hadn’t not taught me to put Him first in ALL areas of my life including tithing. A good Christian friend of mine & l were talking about before we spend any money on anything we give our tithe first. I haven’t always been a tither especially when l was a lukewarm Christian for years. I didn’t wake up 1 day & started tithing perfectly but in God grace l have learned so much. I learned that for me obedience & tithing goes hand in hand. Very THANKFUL God was faithful even when l was not. It’s amazing God only wants 10% & we get to manage or steward of 90%. God is a very loving, kind & generous God. ❤️💕

I too fell into the same situation and the results have produced a financial devourer.
I'm going back no matter how tight my $ is. Thank you Dana for sharing this message to confirm the Truth to me.💗

Oh my goodness I needed to hear this message! I have been tithing faithfully up until about three or four months ago. I was worried a lot about my finances and had a mindset that I could start tithing when I got caught up with all of my bills. Interestingly enough I was talking with my husband a couple of days ago how it feels like I'm never caught up. Prior to my stopping tithing I was of the mindset that I couldn't out give God but somewhere along the line that changed. Thank you again for sharing and sharing your dream. ❤

I enjoyed your testimony: I just wanted to point out that it is in the New Testament, and he even says that we should not neglect it in that verse Luke 11:42

English Standard Version
“But woe to you Pharisees! For you tithe mint and rue and every herb, and neglect justice and the love of God. These you ought to have done, without neglecting the others. I just heard a teacher by Robert Morris about the other day. That finally made me understand why we still tithe.

Wow my husband and I were JUST talking about it. I felt like I lost my joy in tithing… and I cannot stand it! I want to be cheerful but sometimes idk how or where to give it too.

I know you all have beautiful testimonies concerning your tithing. I have them as well.
I want to encourage truth seekers to study tithing more closely.
Yes, all we have comes from the Father and yes he wants us to give freely cheerfully and most importantly to the poor.
Discover for yourselves thru study to see that tithing was not money.
Tithing was set up for the LEVITES only and the tithe was the cattle, what they grew in the land, the flour, spices etc.
Tithe was because the LEVITES were set apart to do all the service of sacrifice and burnt offerings for Most High and because they had no inheritance they were also partakers of those tithe….. they ate it and dispersed it among their families.
Yes Abraham tithed to a High Priest acknowledging who He was to the God they served. Abraham did not give him money….
Also, discover that if their journey was too long to bring their tithe…. (Food)
They were instructed to carry money…. Then when they got to the place to sacrifice they would purchase the animals and other items to be given to the LEVITES…..

Robbing God in Malachi is not talking about us not giving God money
He’s talking about the LEVITES being out of order along with the people who were supposed to be supporting the Priesthood for Gods temple to continue to flourish as he set up ….
Prove him and he will open the windows of heaven……
To rain 🌧️ upon their land and cause it to flourish even more!!!

Now that’s the true set up concerning tithing.

As for giving your money BE FREE to give however you are led and the Word says not to give out of necessity….

It’s always a heart posture when it comes to giving towards anything in the kingdom not a percentage posture.

Blessings as you go study this for yourself.
