The iLok manager is working fine here. There were some problems, but they have done some maintenance and its working fine for me. Your experience may vary.

Hi there, I have a question. I downloaded the License Support Installer on my MAC but I could not expand it whenever I double-clicked it. The screen says "Error 2 (No such file or directory)". I wonder whether there are any solutions to this? Thank you very much, your help will be highly appreciated!

You can try uninstalling and re-installing the iLok Licence Manager. Then just connect one iLok at a time. there are troubleshooting instructions on the iLok website. If that does not work, you need to start a support ticket with PACE/iLok.

Thanks for the reply. The thing is, my iLok light flickers when I plug it in. If its the first time in a couple of hours it will actually begain to launch protools only to shut off 5min later requesting authorization. I cant afford to wait for the whole mail in process to take place. I was told it may be possible to get it on the new iLok. If it's true and I manage to transfer the license will all of my plugins work too.

How do I get a ProTools license into the damned dongle? It asks for an activation code that I don't have. I hate these damned copy protection things.

If its broken you will have to send the broken dongle in to iLok headquarters so they can retrieve the licenses for you. Look on the iLok website for details.

ok I have a question - my ilok usb has broken and I have bought a new ilok key from guitar center will it be safe or is it even possible to transfer my protools express license to the new ilok key

I`m having problems, I can`t activate my ilok, i`m getting a error summary that says "the licenses below have errors, this licenses will not be able to processed during this operation"
any tips? I`ve been tying to fix this for a few days, and its getting frustrating, please help me.

Is it possible to deactivate all licenses from an Ilok, activate them in the software on a laptop and then make a windows cloning/security copy of that unit, and then deactivate the licenses, restore the security copy on the laptop and install activate the licenses on a different computer? Would that work, provided both have acces to the internet? Perhaps that would solve the problem of needing internet connection/having to carry the i-lok around each time I switch from my computer and laptop. Would that actually work to avoid using the I-lok and have the software on both personal computers? (not having to connect to the internet each time I switch from one computer to another, nor losing the I-lok which is bothersome). Let me know if it works!

I bought an extra ilok cause I'm trying to use PT 12 in two differents mac at the same time but, it seems I can't register my purchase on the extra ilok and I just can use one, not two at the same time, is that right? I have to buy another license? thank you
