Ford's ‘Weather Factory’ can simulate global weather conditions

Ford’s new state-of-the-art vehicle testing facility will simulate a huge range of demanding weather conditions – from arctic frost and desert heat to rainforest humidity.

Ford has one better facility for cold testing in Thompson Manitoba which freezes the door handles off cars lots of -40 celsius and windchill factors to -60 celsius, it doesn't get anymore real world than that

:) Ранее лаборатории "не было". И только в 2017 они сообразили, что такой полигон нужен. Всё в одном месте. Жара и холод и прочее "безобразия" погоды. :) Как бы их надоумить добавить тесты на соль и другие агрессивные химические реагенты. Применяемые дорожными службами, во всех странах, где есть Ford :) Правда далее начнутся "войны" между инженерами и "существами цель работы которых оптимизировать затраты на производство, довести до состояния смотрите но не трогайте, завернуть в красивую упаковку и продать с запрограммированным расчетом в дальнейшем содрать с клиента ещё много много денег на запчасти и техническое обслуживание". И как показывает статистика поломок авто, "существа" побеждают.
