Life is a gift or curse and that simply comes to the fa t that skillful views and beliefs and actions will make life a gift, and invalid, unskillful thoughts, beliefs and actions will inevitably make life difficult and a curse.
Disease is just this....
A lack of ease, and if one is physically ill and then gets depressed or anxious about the physical illness, then one picks up two or three extra illnesses.
One emotional, the other mental, and top that with the physical, one will be ripe for Death.
