Not a big fan of the chicken wire though. So much easier for an animal to reach through or tear it up. Plus it rusts out quicker than hardware cloth.

Are Your Chickies Rhode Island Reds? We were suppose to have chickens that layed light blue eggs but our chickens ended up being Rhode Island Reds so we get Beautiful Brown eggs!!! We have two or three that churned out double yolk eggs every other day!!!

Good tip. I don't know anything about keeping chickens.

Your roost poles should be flat. Not sideways. I’ve done both and it seems they prefer the wider surface. You should try both and make a video on that.

These tractors scream, "All predators cordially invited to dine!"

so it looks like the side walls are wedged between two boards? I'm really interested in this and want to make one this way.

Turn the 2×4 around to the larger side so chickens can cover their feet with their feathers.

Any predator issues? I had a small version of that and still a bit heavy to move around. What ever got my Rooster drug my crate across the yard and was able to get to my poor guy 😢

A predator could drag your birds right out through that fencing if they can stick their heads out through the wire the wire is too big, used aviary wire.can’t even get a beak through it, free range during day, but safe and sound at night .j
