Brie Larson Dreams of All-Female Fast X Spinoff

Marvel's starlet Brie Larson, famous for her role as Captain Marvel, is riding high on the wave of popularity. Fresh off the success of Fast X, she hints at a Fast and Furious spinoff that she'd love to be part of. Larson, along with her co-stars, expressed a keen interest in an all-female spinoff during an interview with ET Online.

With the Fast and Furious franchise nearing its end, a spinoff could breathe new life into the series. Even though it might not have the same draw without the likes of Vin Diesel, John Cena, and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Larson's rising fame and the support of co-stars like Michelle Rodriguez, Helen Mirren, Rita Moreno could make it a viable prospect.

As Fast X hits theaters and expected to make a splash, Larson's dream of an all-female spinoff could become a reality. Despite uncertainty over the producers' interest, the success of the latest installment could be the deciding factor.

In addition to Larson, actresses Jordana Brewster and Michelle Rodriguez have also expressed their enthusiasm for an all-female Fast and Furious spinoff. They believe such a film could be beneficial for the movie industry at large.

The proposal for the spinoff includes an impressive cast featuring Theron, Emmanuel, Rodriguez, and Larson, who all are excited at the prospect of working together. Furthermore, Meadow Walker, the daughter of the late Paul Walker, could potentially join the ensemble given her cameo in Fast X and her desire to honor her father's legacy in the franchise.

Known for her supporting roles in comedies as a teenager, she has since expanded to leading roles in independent films and blockbusters. Fast & Furious (also known as The Fast and the Furious) is a media franchise centered on a series of action films that are largely concerned with street racing, heists, spies, and family. The franchise also includes short films, a television series, toys, video games, live shows, and theme park attractions. The films are distributed by Universal Pictures.

The first film was released in 2001, which began the original tetralogy of films focused on illegal street racing and culminated in the film Fast & Furious (2009). The series transitioned towards heists and spying with Fast Five (2011) and was followed by five sequels, with the most recent, Fast X, set for release in May 2023. The main films are known as The Fast Saga.
