Blizzard conditions already beginning to hit along the PA/NY State Line as a BLIZZARD WARNING is in effect. Blizzard Conditions likely contributed to this accident on I-90 Eastbound that has had the interstate closed for a hours. Traffic is backed up for miles, and an unknown ETA on when the interstate will be reopened. Conditions are forecast to continue to deteriorate throughout the day as snow squalls intensify and winds pick up through the evening across the State of New York.

I lived in Rochester, New York and would drive to my families in Cleveland for Christmas on 90. It's not a fun route of you don't like driving in the snow. Lake effect through there can be brutal!!

Only stretch of I-90 in Pennsylvania is thru Erie in northwest PA.

Should say North WEST, Pa.heading into New York State, not north east. 90 runs parallel to lake Erie.I lived on Lake Ontario in mis to late 70's wotred on the lakes some.
