Hopes of a deal touted by Egyptian officials early Monday regarding the opening of the Rafah crossing, which is located on the Gaza-Egypt border, are dashed after Israel and Hamas denied that an agreement has been reached, FRANCE 24’s Tel Aviv correspondent Luke Shrago said.
