Some excellent points here. Samsung is definitely onto something if they continue to follow this path. One thing they do need to do, is to stop putting a limit on OS and security updates. Between high school and university, students are spending 7-10 years studying. Samsung needs to support tablets like S7 for a lot longer than they do. It's one area that Apple does have an advantage. New OS and security updates are more important than ever before. 3 years doesn't really cut it for students.

Using my recently bought s7+ for video editing of 4k drone footage it just takes any workload I throw at it. I am 65 and have never had such a big smile on my face over a piece of tech and I built my first own PC from scratch in the late 90s. Well done mate great content. WELL DONE SAMSUNG

Oh, I forgot, I don't have any Apple products and I'm still having a love affair with the S7+ I bought last year. The thing is, if sketching or architecture is part of someone's needs, the IPad is still unbeatable. It does better in video editing too. But S7 is a better replacement for a computer, regarding school tasks

As a lady who has used Apple products for a very long time, their products had been a staple and still is for many apple fans. If it weren't for the Samsung tab S7, I would be getting an ipad mini 5 instead of that.

Yeah, Samsung's ecosystem is not as optimized as Apple's is, but the reason I purchased a tab S7 in the first place... well.. I feel like it's my calling to do more stuff with it.

Apple products are getting too expensive lately and was pretty lucky to find a tab S7 for under $500.

It's my go to tablet and one that I know I will use everyday. Pretty soon, I'm sure others like myself will make a change from Apple to Samsung in the future.

When you calculate how much you can save as a family when switching from Apple to Samsung, u will probably save about half of what u will spend on Apple products. I convinced both of my brother's family & my sister's family to switch. They were all stuck in the Apple ecosystem & they were spending a fortune. Now both families use Samsung phones & tablets & they are extremely happy. For example, my sister & brother-in-law had iphones a few years back & I convinced them to switch to the Samsung S9 & recently they both bought the S21+ & my 3 nieces have the Tab A7 (10.4) which cost only around $200 each. You don't wanna buy $400 to $500 tablets for kids since they might break it in a few months. Can you imagine how much it will cost them if they buy the latest ipads for 3 kids. Same thing with my brother, his wife & my 2 nephews.

I've never owned an ipad but two months ago I switched to a Tab S7 after using an Asus Zenpad for four years. Bigger screen, S pen included and a huge spec upgrade. Excellent for editing videos for my YouTube channel. Excellent for viewing movies etc. Not to mention the cost savings over an ipad. No regrets.
