Don't buy this Cable, this is my Opinion for you. I couldn't believe it when I saw what was inside. How can you trust such a Tester to make a Module Programming. Just another Garbage.

This cable works just fine to connnect to an F series with ista+… run a diagnosis and delete errors.. and surf around some maintainance specs. I’ve done that to my car.. of course i agree: i would never think about using it when it comes to programming, coding or software update. You need an icom for this type of extensive job.

This is a BMW standard cable for ENET, not original but is not a joke. Is not an ICOM, that is a different story. There is also a resistor in this cable and yes the real cost is about 5$ but that’s not the point, you can use it to program, code, diagnose.

You can even make this on your own - if you have some basic soldering skills, gather a male OBD adapter and a RJ-45 ethernet plug, then will need to use pins number 3, 11, 12, 13 of OBD to pins 1, 2, 3, 6 of RJ-45 ethernet cable as follows - 3 of OBD-3 of RJ45, 11 OBD - 6 RJ45, 12 of OBD - 1 of RJ45, 13 of OBD - 2 of RJ45, and on pin number 8 and 16 of OBD put a 510 ohm resistor in between - now you can program, diagnose and code F, G and I series.
