SOV243: Point Clare From Eight To Four Part One
I’ll start by saying I’m really excited to bring this series to you.
Filmed on Thursday 28/09/17 (so it’s another of the September 2017 ones), this five-part series features an incredible amount of trains both regular and interesting, captured using every angle (more or less) which Point Clare has to offer. It is this series which has made Point Clare my favourite station on the CCN. The series’ title comes from the fact I was there from 08:07 to 16:04, allowing me to film every train which came through in that time (and there were plenty of them).
In Part One, the usual OSCARs and V sets are featured running between Sydney and Hamilton (as Newcastle Interchange was still yet to open). Also featured we have an XPT: NT33 en route to Casino, as well as history class and two freighters: One coal and one steel.
Later parts will feature more freight with a wide variety of motive power, more commuter trains, more regional services and even a rare sight or two.
