Yeah Sonos.. They been weird for some time - removing features due to some lawsuits and 'patent issues', losing streaming partners, not fixing bugs in their firmware. They kinda just focusing on the corporate stuff rather than their products. If they go down - there's no way they will opensource anything. All the mess they had with Google home and the 'patented' media casting features, they rather go down and take everything to the grave. So hacking the firmware or replacing the Sonos board with something like RaspberryPI are probably the only ways to keep them out of landfill.

For example, I installed Foobar2000 through wsl and wine and ran it successfully. Felt a bit silly of course, but wsl can run windowed applications - assuming that's what that person meant.

My phone is older, and the android OS not a candy but a cookie: Oreo! It has the pink/purpleish octopus Gif's, and if you unlock the Easter egg you can make it swim around following your finger, and it's freaking cool! They should make a game out of it, where you can explore the underwater world and hunt for fish and crustaceans, maybe even find a treasure chest! It's fun for adult's, and would probable thrill kids big time.

As someone that grew up with computers, and someone who has been a computer tech for many years, and went to college for it.... No... Everyone does not "Love apple" in fact, most tech's I know have cursed their names since the mid to late ninties. I know I have, and I always will. I hate them and I refuse to play their games. Having paid attention to Thermals in many of their laptops, having tried to repair some of their devices, or having to somehow associate music I had bought once, with a program that puts it into a format I can't use and fights me to be able to download it onto my other devices, hiding settings, or just being a dick to fix I. Hate. Them.

You are wrong, wsl2 can run GUI apps. Just fine. You can install from the ad and remove in windows
