OMG. This is so helpful. I discovered on my own that I need to shorten my kick drums after I wondering for a year why my kicks don't sound awesome like on my favorite tracks. Making samples shorter is the one thing that has helped me. I think it's amazing that Steve needed to tell deadmou5 that his kick was too long!

15:15 its a Geometric series... All the interference in lower and higher ranges with a higher pitched fundamental. Its a geometric series for the interference.
