The second shot should have been the cover. I'm so sick of these vogue covers that looks like they were shot on an iPhone and barely edited. Vogue covers should be more about the fashion anyway, not the person.

Agreed, this lacked a bit of je ne sais quoi after the Margot Robbie editorial which was 👌 Styling here was fine but it reminded me more of early 2000s Seventeen than Vogue (of any era)

My question is: Why would the photographer shoot her in the most beautiful sunlight and not even pose her in front of it so we could see the sunlight hit the dress or her face? How is that the cover shot? If this is you know who’s work, I hope someone mysteriously breaks her camera….

she’s so beautiful but that cover is so plain. i have no idea why anna looks at the covers she greenlits and thinks “what if we made everyone look like they were taking a fancy prep school photo and weren’t allowed to make any sort of expression or dynamic pose?” people could take a photo like this anywhere. if they wanted to go for some sort of down to earth vibe, they could’ve made it appear more natural and less stiff.
