I do wish the Chinese rom/china only released phones were easier to get over here and elsewhere in the west as a z fold 3 owner, Samsung is getting away with way too much because of the lack of readily available competition.

Just got my Vivo X Fold 3 - noticed Origin OS has so much customisations in settings etc. Might need a video on the best settings you use and a How-to in settings.

So you rate the Global ROM V2 running the 8 Gen 2 chipset 2/5 for software because of its 2024 release even though it supports full Google - and this Chinese ROM phone gets 3/5, and also has last year's chipset?

I selected X3 because it was 1100 usd, Pro version is about 400 usd more. I think X3 is best option for this price up today, and I am not sure that X3 Pro worth 400 usd more

I can put 2 apps split plus 2 floating on my x fold (1). Open an app and make it small window mode and do it 2 times closing each of them and they go to the side of the screen. Then open your next 2 apps and split them. Next go to the side apps opening them and there they are, all 4 apps on the screen.

Really interested in getting the Pro from you. Can you tell me if the Chinese version has any serious drawbacks as opposed to the global? and does the USB C on it support Display Alt mode (Display port). This would be essential as I use Xreal AR glasses. Thanks.
