The era of King Bibi seems to have finally come to an end. For almost 25 years, Benjamin Netanyahu dominated Israeli politics and led some of the most important changes in the history of the Hebrew country.

Netanyahu nurtured Israel's economic take-off, technological revolution and openness to the world, including the important Abraham Accords that ended the long confrontation between the Arab powers and the Hebrew state.

Now a diverse coalition of eight parties has taken the reins of the country. At the head of the government is Naftali Bennett, a former Netanyahu ally and ideologically to the right of the former Prime Minister. What could Bennett's coming to power mean for Israel and the Middle East? In this video we tell you all the details.

the PM in Israel isn't the Commander In Chief. The PM together with the minister of defense and some other representatives choose a commander in chief which today is Aviv Kochavi

This coalition's greatest power is their fear from Bibi's return. That's what keeps it together

07:38 is where they actually get to the subject of the video title.

07:26 Israel's PM is not the Commander in Chief. That's a title held by the president in the US and a few other countries, but it's not the norm around the world.

08:28 Economy is not one of the top 3 ministries, that's Finance. Economy is what is called "Ministry of Trade and Industry" in some countries. Interestingly, it was the same in Israel, until Bennett took up the post in 2013 and renamed it to Economy Ministry. It's considered a 2nd tier ministry though, similar to education, healthcare and interior.

This video is misleading. for example the headline: "ISRAEL's new LEADER who wants to annex THE WEST BANK". Bibi said on a number on occasions, including during the couple of last election campaigns, that he wants to annex the west bank too, but from your headline you make it sound like Bennet is special by saying it. another thing that's not quiet right is what you said in 15:36. The coalition has control of 61 seats in the Kneset but Bibi doesn't control all the rest of the remaining 59 seats because 6 of those seats belong to The Joint List, an Arab party that Bibi once warned that their mostly Arab voters are "swarming to the polls", and so they don't really support Bibi.
Another thing that you barley mentioned is why in spite of securing the largest share of votes Bibi could form a coalition. 6 of the 8 parties in the coalition were in the past in coalition with Bibi or a part of the Likud party itself, even after the police started investigating Bibi and after his trial started. If those party leaders didn't have a personal grudge against Bibi, or if anybody else headed the Likud, this coalition would have never happen. As long as Bibi is heading the opposition, this government have a fighting chance.
Israeli politics is a hot mess. If you cover it you need show the full picture or else you're misleading your viewers.

This video has accurate facts, although i couldn't disagree more with the interpretation and analysis of the situation. The main reason Netanyahu lost power was not due to loss of popularity (which btw didn't really happen), but because of parties (and theur leaders) ousting him. Bennet and Liberman sided with Netanyahu's coalition all these years, when Liberman resigned the problems have risen, and when him and Bennet went with the left, that's when he was kicked out.

❗❗❗You have a huge incorrect information at the end of your video❗❗❗

There are 61 supporters to the new government.

Bibi has 53 supporters on his side, and not 59 as you mentioned.

The other 6 members belong to another arab party that is a combination of communists-seculars and arab/palastinian nationalists - They are part of the opposition, although they definitely do not support Benjamin Netanyahu, but neither they support Naftali Bennett for obvious reasons.

Other countries : right wing vs left wing
Israel and France : center right vs ultra right wing
US : Extreme right vs Extreme left
Japan : f*ck it, liberal party is called right wing and conservatives are center right ( Japanese nationalism)
India : literally 100s of parties, right, left and extreme left, then comes Independent
🤣🤣 Politics is a circus itself .

In a "startup-nation" - Benett did it again - a huge "exit" with his new start-up "Yamina party" from 0 seats to a prime minister in only 2 years. This is what we call a "unicorn" party :-) . (Yamina did not exist 3 years ago, and got 0 seats in the first election...)

It's not radical, the two state solution ended up in a dead PM and a second intifada.
Repeating a mistake?
The Emirates idea in the west bank is much smarter.
